Motorly requests camera access to enable users to capture photos of vehicle service receipts, fuel purchase receipts, and vehicle identification documents. This functionality is core to our service as it allows our AI-powered optical character recognition (OCR) technology to extract relevant data automatically.

User Control

Motorly requests location access to provide location-based services such as finding nearby fuel stations, service centers, and parking facilities. This enhances the utility of our vehicle management platform by connecting users with relevant local services.

Notifications Permission

Purpose

Motorly requests notification permissions to send timely alerts about vehicle maintenance schedules, insurance renewals, road tax deadlines, and service appointment reminders. These notifications are essential for helping users maintain their vehicles properly.

• Prevent missed maintenance schedules that could damage vehicles
• Ensure timely renewal of legal requirements (insurance, road tax)

Storage Permission (Android)

Purpose

On Android devices, Motorly may request storage access to save exported reports, backup data, or save captured images before processing.

• Enable saving of vehicle reports in PDF/CSV formats
• Allow temporary storage of captured images before upload
• Facilitate offline data backup capabilities
